In 1991, Mark Tarner founded the SBCC. We now have 13 company-owned stores in northern Indiana and 4 franchised locations throughout Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. The factory is located at 3300 W. Sample Street in South Bend and occupies 60,000 square feet. The company got its start making chocolates for the University of Notre Dame. Its first products were the Domer, Rockne and Nuts. We now produce over 500 items and are the fastest growing chocolate company in the Nation.
