While most people think of the defunct '70s band when someone first suggests Hot Tuna, most regulars agree that with the fresh ahi and charbroiled fish coming out of the kitchen of the Omni Hotel restaurant each day, it won't be long before all visions of guitar licks fade. What will replace those images? Plaintain-crusted grouper or any of the daily catches that keep the airy and colorful restaurant packed on morning, noon and night might suffice.
Then there is the brunch, which is hard for any visitor to forget. A seafood spread is laid out each Saturday and Sunday, which seems to stretch as far as the eye can see. And the reduced price keeps both hotel guests and the post-church crowd grinning and loosening their belts each weekend.
